Cheers for Regina Enumerators!
The enumerator came by tonight! This is incredibly exciting; there I was, entering my second hour in front of my computer, when my doorbell rang. Wondering whether to stop working, I finally made my way to the door… and there was the enumerator! Like the eight year old in line to see Santa at the mall, I broke into a huge grin and happily gave the pertinent information.
To me, voting is exciting because it’s an opportunity to participate in our democratic process. Yawn, right? Wrong.
The Douglas Park By-election is shaping up to be a hot race, and ReginaStreets is on the trail. September 21, 2009 is voting day, and we’ll be following with a watchful eye on the candidates. Stay tuned

It is always delightful to witness that “kid-in-a-candy-store” exuberance over something as simple as an enumeration for an upcoming election!
I hope you never lose that personality trait.
And I hope you run in an election yourself as soon as you can. I wonder how big a landslide it might be!
I think that Stacey would make an excellent school board trustee….*wink wink nudge nudge*
I find this support broadly encouraging! Thanks guys! I hope in this upcoming election that the successful candidate understands the importance of creating positive growth for all the facets of our community.
Do I ever love the smell of election season! It’s the distinct scent of… hope!
I only give support because it is warranted. You are a great leader, a terrific friend, a disgustingly hard worker and an excellent business partner.
