Jason Gambert, are you okay?
Yesterday, I wrote about a young business leader named Rhea Drysdale, who waged a war to keep a fellow named Jason Gambert from trademarking the term ‘S.E.O.’. Well, I have a bit of a follow up – it appears that Jason Gambert has completely lost his mind.
Check out his web site. It is one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen.

About Greg: Greg Hluska is an early 30s Regina guy. By day, he works in User Experience in a technology company and by night, he is an avid reader/writer who helps publish the Regina Streets Magazine. |
You know, when I clicked on the link that said, “Jason Gambert has completely lost his mind”, I thought you were being metaphorical! I wanted to laugh, but it was just too sad. His website seems to simply justify what a sound decision was made in denying him the use of this trademark. For those of you that haven’t been following this story, I humbly suggest you read Greg’s brief coverage of the topic… then click on “Jason Gambert has completely lost his mind”.
The crucified Jesus imagery in the link worries me a whole lot. I wish him the best and I hope that he is doing okay.
In all truth, his motives behind trying to trademark S.E.O. may have been valid. There are some dodgy firms operating within the S.E.O. community and some sort of regulation would save a lot of people from being ripped off. However, I think that his methods are regrettable – had he been a little less confrontational, he may have been able to change the search industry for the better.
Oh well, interesting saga….
